Debris

Maps an image onto a grid, and then uses the Explode 3D Object node to separate the pieces of the grid. Uses the Curve node to move the camera and to warp time. Rendered with motion blur using Vuo 1.1’s new offline renderer.

Audio: I held a microphone up next to an old Pentium 4 processor and recorded the electromagnetic interference it induced, then imported it into Renoise and ran it through a filter, gate, and reverb.

Instructions

To make the video, I changed the parameters (e.g., the start and end points of the Curve nodes), then rendered a segment, then repeated that process a bunch of times. I assembled the clips using Final Cut Pro X.

This one is really cool !

But both the composition loader and the exported can’t render smoothly on my MBP 2011 i5 4 go …
Guess this 192 x 192 grid is too heavy to explode here :)

But the exported movie is :)
