Addition of a fps, frame rate, input to the “Save Images to Movie” node.
This will allow people to create movies of a known/controllable frame rate.
Paul,
Save Frames to Movie
does let you specify timestamps, and you could specify integer-multiple timestamps in order to get a particular constant framerate.
It might still be handy to have an (optional) framerate port on Save Images to Movie
, as it would make constant-framerate movies easier to create.
If you send frames too slowly or too quickly, just insert duplicate frames / drop frames?
My point is to get away from need to supply images at any particular rate. If I set the movie frame to 30fps then if I supply 30 frames (irrespective of how fast I generate them) then the movie should end up being 1 second longer, each of my images occupying 1/30 second.
