Pasting names into outputs for subcomp not working after first one

Create subcomp for node library.
Copy and paste text to name output port, works for the first port but following ports do not accept the pasting of text.

No workaround found.

  • Vuo version: 2.45
  • macOS version: Sonoma 14.5
  • Mac model and CPU: M2 Max
  • Have you been able to reproduce the bug? yes
  • How severely does this bug affect you? just a bit annoying when you have lots of ports to name like with the VisionOSC node I shared.

Hmm, we haven’t been able to reproduce this. Here’s what we tried:

  • Open your Pose Input subcomposition.
  • Copy some text from another application.
  • Right-click on each published output, select Rename Port…, paste text, and hit Enter.
    • If you paste before or after the existing port name, the pasted text is added to the name.
    • If the paste overwrites the existing port name, the name becomes the pasted text plus a numerical suffix if needed to make it unique.

Did you do something different? (Feel free to attach a screen recording if that’s easier than explaining in words.)

I was copying text from the Make 3d point name field which I had already re-named.
Weirder than I thought this, I just tried a few node’s names and they didn’t work, but I tried ‘Scale’ and it did.
