Vuo prevents to choose audio devices with the same name

Steps causing the bug to occur

  1. Connect two same named audio devices (like ext. USB soundards)
  2. Try to choose one of them, then another.

  • Vuo version: 1.2.5
  • macOS version: OS X 10.11
  • How severely does this bug affect you? It prevents me from completing a specific task with Vuo.

Vuo can choose only one of the devices. If you want to choose another with the sam name, Vuo keeps the previous one chosen.

Thanks for pointing out the workaround, @Kewl.

To avoid the situation where you pick one device from the menu but Vuo uses a different device, we could modify that menu to disambiguate devices with the same name.

This was fixed along as part of other changes to audio nodes for Vuo 2.0.0.
