2.4.3 "save images to movie" broken

Steps to reproduce the bug

  1. in vuo 2.4.3, open “recordMovie.vuo” example composition
  2. run it and dtop it
  3. File is not created. Console shows:

[   4.621s] VuoCompositi:VuoModuleCac [18720:17041300]        VuoAvWriter.mm:90       VuoAvWriter_initializeMovie()  Error: "file:/Users/mc/Desktop/RecordedMovie.mov" is not writable

Use Vuo 2.4.1

  • Mac model and CPU: macbook M1
  • Have you been able to reproduce the bug? yes
  • How severely does this bug affect you? Not at all but doesn’t allow to upgrade Vuo

I notice now that a similar bug report was already opened for “Save frame to movie”. Apologize for (almost) double entry. Please join them as I suppose they have a common root.

Yeah, this looks like the same bug as Save Frames to Movie not working in Vuo 2.4.3; thanks for noting. We plan to release Vuo 2.4.4 with a fix in a week or two.
