Steps causing the bug to occur

In a composition with sidebars, for example protocol comps, whenever you cmd-z anything done on the canvas, with sidebars hidden, it displays the sidebars back again.

I can agree this could be the case if I would undo a cable connection from / to sidebars, but it happens for any undo.

BTW, the esc key clears the node library search on first hit, hides the library on second hit, and hides the sidebars on third hit, which is cool. Please don’t remove that, a key to hide sidebars is really great EDIT : just remembered cmd-4 already shows/hide the sidebars, but I’m not against the 3rd esc hiding it too.

  • How severely does this bug affect you? Not much; I’m just letting you know about it.

When we follow those steps, the protocol ports are correctly removed. (The published port sidebars are still visible, but you can easily hide them with View > Hide Published Ports.) Is that your experience?

My bad. Should have noticed that, focused on the sidebars.
