Constant nag screen on start-up despite successfully acknowledged activation

Steps causing the bug to occur

  1. No matter how many times, whenever I open Vuo I get asked to buy/activate.
  2. I activate my pro account. This is acknowledged. Pro works, I can export apps.
  3. I quit Vuo, and then open it as little as 10 seconds later. See step 1.

Have you found a workaround?

Nothing apart from having to reactivate every. single. time. I open the app.

  • Vuo version: 2.4.2
  • macOS version: macOS 11
  • CPU: x86_64
  • Have you been able to reproduce the problem? Yes, the problem occurs consistently when I follow the steps above
  • How severely does this bug affect you? It’s annoying but I can work around it.

Sorry, that’s definitely annoying.

Do you still have Vuo.app in your Downloads folder (or wherever you first saved it when downloading)? If so, please move it to a different folder and see if that fixes the problem. (macOS may restrict the app’s functionality if the file has not yet been moved.)

If that doesn’t fix it, how about restarting your computer? (Occasionally a macOS process that runs in the background, necessary for license checking, gets messed up and needs a reboot.)
