Thanks @dust ! i realised that i could use the same method but didn’t know you could connect several action buttons to the same updated window. This solves the last of my problems :D
well your welcome glad that helped. indeed its possible to use the same update window port for multiple buttons. this makes it possible to make a row of buttons each with different position in the same window. that seems to be more like the intended use of the action buttons window function. not necessarily to show different button for different layers like you asked. if you tried to display all three buttons at the same time in the example I posted, you would only see one button because they all have the same position [0,0] so they would draw onto of each other.
