before downloading and upgrade and getting the must pay surprise.
is this small update a pay one or is it free?

The update from 1.2.0 to 1.2.1 is free.

If you look at your user page, it says My License: Vuo Pro 1.2.x and prior versions. That means you get any version that starts with “1.2.”.
