Inputs: List of text items for menu items. Default selection.
Output: Selected item index.
Is this FR for exported apps where the menu would appear in the Apple menu bar or some kind of pop-up window in the rendering window of the composition, either using the Editor or an exported app?
I was imagining something that could be placed on a window, like the other UI elements.
I would love for this UI feature to be implemented. I continue to find projects I’m working on that could really benefit from this feature request.

Ya, I’ve been throwing votes this direction too. I have a few other feature requests I’ve been supporting as well; sometimes I base which one I throw my votes at, on whether it will bump it’s standing in the list or not. Ha!
