Reveal a ghosted version of hidden cable connections when you hover over port with hidden cables. Shouldn’t need to unhide and rehide just to check where they are connected.

I’d be more inclined to do it for selected nodes. Or even more removed from slowing down the UX/UI, only reveal when a modifier key is pressed and only for selected nodes. So not Spacebar as it’s already got Pan and hopefully Pan/Zoom one day. Not Shift as it’s a selector modifier, Not Option as its standard copy modifier in many drawing apps. Guess that only leaves the Control Key. :-)
