How do I save several instances of a live video at will. One after the other with the press of a mousebutton, and how do I increment or change name of the saved files?

Use an Append Texts node to build your URL, with a Count node to do the incrementing.
The attached composition (4 KB) will save a frame when the mouse button is pressed. By default, to ~/Desktop/MyImage #.jpg where # is the file number, beginning at 1.
