Serial USB relay board suggestion

Hi. I wish to buy a USB relay board in order to interface to a slide projector, and being able to trigger next / prev slide. I think. can do it by interfacing through the original remote port. For this I need to buy a USB relay interface. I suppose I could drive it by serial communication nodes in Vuo. I wonder if anyone has some experience with specific USB relay boards that proofed to be working in macos and communicating through standard serial communication.

No experience with USB relay boards, but ones based on the CH340 chipset might be a good starting point. We have at least tested a CH340 USB-serial adapter with Vuo. Of course if you have the option to try before buying, or if anyone can vouch for a particular product that they’ve used successfully, that would be ideal.

Easiest way is to use an Arduino instead of some random chip. The knowledge base and library support for it is enormous, and will probably get you set quickly.
