The Quit command behaves like Close

Steps causing the bug to occur

  1. When a do “command Q” for quit Vuo only close the forefront open document, I need to do the same for every open document, like if was there close command…

Other notes

  • Vuo version: 2.0.0-beta1
  • macOS version: macOS 10.14
  • How severely does this bug affect you? Not much; I’m just letting you know about it.

@prackvj — If you can provide a more detailed list of steps to help us replicate the problem, please let me know. We tested this…

  • Create 2 new compositions
  • Modify each composition (e.g., move the Fire on Start node)
  • Command-Q

… and didn’t see the problem. (Vuo correctly asked to save changes on the first composition, then on the second composition, then quit.)

Our team will keep an eye out for any cases where Command-Q doesn’t successfully quit. But if you do figure out how to make it happen on purpose, please post here. We need to know that in order to track down the problem.

Found it! Steps to reproduce the problem:

  • Launch Vuo
  • New composition
  • Make a change so it’s unsaved
  • Right-click on Dock icon and select Quit
  • Click “Don’t Save” button
  • Window closes, but application hasn’t quit

I can confirm behaviour as suggested.
High Sierra and Mojave.
