Other notes

  • How severely does this bug affect you? Not much; I’m just letting you know about it.

I have the website saving my login credentials.

Weird. So far we haven’t been able to reproduce the problem. When you say W7, you mean Windows 7? We don’t have Windows 7 here, but we tried Chrome 50 on Windows 10 and Chrome 47 and 50 on Mac. Tried starting with both and, in a new incognito window.

Did the problem just start happening within the past 2 weeks? If so, it’s likely related to a content experiment we’re running on the front page (where it randomly shows one of two variations each time you view the page).

@krezrock, if you (or anyone else) have any idea what might be the trick to reproducing this problem, or could provide a screen capture, please let us know.

windows 7 indeed.

yes it started in the past 2 weeks, since the compositions were added (Nice addition, BTW). It happened on OSX 10.10 Safari yesterday. I’ll try to reproduce and screen capture it.

Figured it out — Because of the content experiment, there was a series of redirects happening that landed in the wrong place after logging in. We’ve disabled the content experiment for logged-in users, so this bug should be fixed now.
