What is the most efficient/stable video codec for video scratching?

Hi everyone!

I am programming video scratching Vuo composition. I was using Apple ProRes LT but I switched to HapQ and had better performance results.

What is the most efficient/stable video codec for video scratching?

Back in the day it was PJPEG at 75% compression.

I would stick with Hap. Probably your best bet these days. try the regular flavor, it’s lighter than the Q version.
